Help Save Endangered Wolves
Red wolves and Mexican wolves are nearing extinction. Will you help protect them today?
Across the United States, red wolves and Mexican wolves are fighting for survival. With only a few hundred left in the wild combined, every loss is devastating, as it pushes these wolves one step closer to extinction. As infrastructure cuts through their habitats and human activity grows, both species are frequently struck by vehicles while simply trying to navigate their territories.
That’s why, in partnership with conservation organizations and wolf sanctuaries nationwide, Greater Good Charities is both working to protect wild populations by supporting projects like safe wildlife crossings on busy roads, while also improving sanctuary habitats to accommodate more captive-born and injured wolves. These crossings reconnect fragmented landscapes and reduce deadly collisions, while sanctuary improvements ensure there is more space for wolves who need long-term care.
One of these wolves is Billie, a wolf found severely malnourished as part of the exotic pet trade. Disoriented and struggling to survive on her own, she needed extensive care and a safe environment to heal. With supportive care and a safe place to heal, Billie is now on the path to recovery. Her story shows just how important it is to protect vulnerable wolves before it’s too late.
Your support is urgently needed to protect endangered wolves and safeguard the places they call home. Your gift can help build wildlife crossings, expand sanctuary capacity, and fund the conservation work that red wolves and Mexican wolves rely on for survival.
Projects:
June 2026- Greater Good Charities is working with Wolf Haven International to save and protect endangered wolves. Wolf Haven houses rescued wolves, wolfdogs, and coyotes, also conducting a breeding program designed to ensure the continued health and survival of the Mexican and American Red Wolf.
The Construction Team headed to Wolf Haven to renovate and rebuild their enclosures and facilities. The need is urgent—one enclosure will soon be unusable if it’s not renovated, meaning less space for rescued wolves in need. Our project will ensure that as many wolves as possible get the best care for years to come, and Wolf Haven’s expert staff can continue their crucial work to ensure the survival of these species.
