Nyasha was found by locals in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine with a severe, infected wound across her back. The injury had become badly inflamed and required immediate care to prevent further complications.
Veterinarians determined the wound was deeply infected and removed damaged tissue before placing a drainage system to try to clear the infection. She is now receiving antibiotics, pain medication, and daily wound care to support her healing.
